Egg Pesto Sandwich


I’m sure that you had an egg sandwich before but if you ever had an egg pesto sandwich this is something you have to try. Eggs are one of the most simple, inexpensive protein pack foods that you could eat. But when you add a little pesto to it you can make something completely unique and different you never even tried before. Pesto is a fantastic nutritious healthy thing to keep in your refrigerator at all times.


I’m going to share with how to make egg pesto sandwich that’s got to go into your family’s weekly rotation. What I love about this sandwich because this is my son’s favorite sandwich in the world. This recipe is beautiful, super easy and it’s really perfect for school lunch for your kiddos. Let’s get started.


Ingredients


1 large egg


1 tbsp. pesto


Whole wheat Bread


1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese


1 tsp. vegetable oil

Procedure


Beat in egg and pesto. In a medium high heat nonstick cooking pan pour in vegetable oil.


Once it starts to cook fold the omelet into a square. What we are trying to do here is to make the egg pesto omelet into a square shape to fit into a bread.


In a piece of bread put some mozzarella cheese and the egg pesto omelet right on top of the bread.

If you want put a little more of mozzarella cheese. Put another bread on top and put it back to the pan and press it down and cook it for 2 minutes on each side or until it turns to golden brown.


And when it’s finished cut in into two and served.


The best part about this egg pesto sandwich is it only takes a minute to make and it’s a fully balanced meal, this is the best lunch or dinner that you can make in just a minute that staples in your fridge, have a happy tummy!
