This light, flakey and breakfast favorite melts in your mouth French creation is an ideal snack anytime of the day. Buttery flavored and definitely addictive, this would be a great trend with family and friends.
I bet this is super delicious and fantastic recipe with just a couple of ingredients. You will need this following ingredients. Let’s get started.

Ingredients
2 Sheets of Frozen Puff Pastry, thawed
½ pack thinly Sliced Ham
½ pack thinly Sliced Cheddar
Egg Wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp of water)
Procedure
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees, line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
Lay each piece of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and roll it out using your rolling pin, just a bit so it’s an inch bigger on all four sides.
Cut each piece of puff pastry into 4 squares and then cut each square in half on a diagonal to create a triangular shape, from one corner to another.
Place a piece of ham on the largest side of the triangle and top that with a slice of cheese, (make sure to tear the cheese and ham to make it fit well), brush all the sides with the egg wash and roll away from you so that the thinnest end ends up on top. Continue to do those on the other.
Place them seam-side down on a parchment lined baking sheet and brush the top with some egg wash really well. Bake them for about 10 to 15 minutes or until they are a gorgeous and lovely lightly golden brown color. Make sure to rotate the baking sheets halfway through for even baking.
you can make ahead of this and put them in the freezer overnight and pop them in the oven and you will have the best and tasty homemade ham and cheese croissant, have a happy tummy!
