These scenario always happen every time we celebrate any kind of special occasion. I still remember last Christmas when two of my cousins visited our house, they we’re shocked because they almost miss the chance of trying the most love recipe of my family which is the caramelized holiday ham.
For that reason, I decided to share this recipe, so that all people may also try the amazing taste of a special caramelized ham. So take a look at the simple ingredients I listed below and a secret preparation to make a simple ham into a more special one.
Caramelized Holiday Ham Recipe

Ingredients
1 spiral sliced ham
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of pear nectar
1/2 cup of maple syrup
1/2 cup of fresh orange juice
Preparation
- Preheat your oven into 375 degrees.
- In a deep baking pan, place the ham cut side down.
- Mix well the pear nectar and orange juice, and then pour over ham.
- Roast the ham for 30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes with orange juice.
- In medium-sized bowl, mix the syrup and sugar together. Pour on top of the ham and spread it evenly on its top.
- Bake it for 1 hour until the sugar starts to form a crust or the sugar caramelizes well.
- Rest for 3 minutes and serve. Enjoy!
