I put some ground pepper on this or few tops of chili sauce for adults. I usually add more spices to add spicy flavor like green bell pepper to add color in your sauce. To have a perfect color, avoid too much of ketchup so that the color is still remains brown. If you are interested to learn about this recipe, I will share the ingredients and procedure of this Yum steak with mushroom recipes for you.
Ingredients for Steak with Mushroom Recipes:
2 medium onions, chopped finely (separate another chopped onion into a small container)
½ kilo ground beef
½ cup bread crumbs
1 egg
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon mustard powder
PROCEDURE:
- Combine, ground beef, 1 chopped onions, bread crumbs, egg, and salt and ground black pepper into a large bowl. Massage it using your fingers then form it into medium patties.
- In a medium heat pan skillet, brown the both sides of patties. Remove the excess fat to avoid oily patties.
- In another bowl, blend flour, water, and ketchup and Worcestershire sauce together. Stir well until it smooth. Add chopped onion and mustard powder. Make sure that it blends together to avoid lumps of dry ingredients. Let it boil for a few minutes into a skillet.
- Place patties into the sauce and cover for few minutes till it smooth.

Once it’s done, transfer it into a presentable container. You can make a sweet creamy corn side dish or sautéed asparagus that can be put on side of it. Try to enjoy cooking this Yum steak with mushroom recipes at home.

4 Sheets of dry nori (dry seaweed sheets)
Sesame seed mix (gold and black sesames)
Salt
1 Cup grilled salmon
1 Cup canned tuna
2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
Salt and pepper
Optional: Japanese umeboshi (pickled plum)
Procedure
- Cook the rice and set it aside on a large plate to cool.
- Shred grilled salmon and set aside.
- Mix tuna with some salt, pepper and mayo in a separate bowl. Set aside.
- Wet your hands in clean water and rub salt into the palms.
- Take a handful of rice and roll it into a rough ball.
- Poke a hole into the middle of the rice ball and gently stuff with some filling. Use eiher one umeboshi a small amount of the prepared fish fillings.
- Cover the filling with a little more rice and roll it into a ball again.
- Gently shape the rice ball into a triangular shape with flat sides.
- When all of the rice balls are done, cut the dry nori into wide strips (approximately 3 inches wide and 5 inches long).
- Place the center of the nori on one flat edge of the rice ball and fold the ends up the sides.
- For some of the onigiri, sprinkle the sesames on the rice.

For Sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce

Procedure
- Shred carrots, green peppers and spring onions into 2 inch lengths and set aside.
- Tenderize beef into ½ inch thick pieces and slice them into 6 inch squares.
- Arrange a small amount of carrot, green peppers and spring onion at one end of the beef.
- Tightly roll the beef slices and then lightly dust them with flour.
- In a large frying pan, heat the cooking oil over a medium-high heat.
- Place beef rolls in the pan, joint-side down to prevent it from unravelling.
- Fry the rolls for 1-2 minutes, or until cooked through.
- To make the sauce, mix all of the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour it over the cooking beef.
- Slice beef rolls diagonally and garnish with parsley.

Yummy Yakitori Recipe

Ingredients
10 Boneless/skinless chicken thighs
2 Bunches of leeks
½ Cup soy sauce
½ Cup Japanese Mirin (cooking rice wine)
¼ Cup teriyaki sauce
1 Teaspoon brown sugar
¼ Teaspoon grated ginger
Coarse black pepper
Extras: Large re-sealable freezer bags and 10-12 bamboo skewers
Procedure
- Fill a shallow baking pan with water and place bamboo skewers inside to soak.
- Cut chicken thighs into 2 inch cubes and place them in the freezer bag.
- Cut leeks diagonally into 1 inch thick pieces and set them aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the ginger, mirin, soy sauce, sugar, teriyaki sauce and black pepper (adjusted to taste).
- Pour the marinade into the freezer bag and seal it.
- Gently shake the bag to thoroughly coat the meat and place it in a refrigerator for a few hours.
- Remove chicken cubes from the refrigerator and skewer one piece followed by a piece of the leeks. Continue to alternate meat with leeks until ¾ of the skewer is full.
- Place yakitori on a medium hot grill and cook for a couple of minutes per side or until nicely charred.

INGREDIENTS:
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup ketchup
1 ½ kilo lean ground beef
¾ cup milk
2 eggs
1 ½ teaspoon salt

Ingredients
1 kilo of cleaned fish (lapu-lapu, tilapia, mackerel or any fish)

- Season the fishes with salt.

- Saute the garlic, onion, ginger then add the carrots, bell peppers and tomatoes.
- Pour the sugar, vinegar and dissolved corn starch.
- Season with salt and pepper then cook until the sauce thickens.
- Add the fish and cook for 3 another minutes. Serve and enjoy!

Smoked Turkey Recipe

Ingredients
For the Injection
12 oz. room temperature beer
2 tbsp. of Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. of liquid crab boil
1 tbsp. of hot sauce
1/2 cup of melted butter
6 pcs of garlic cloves
2 tbsp. of Creole seasoning
1 tbsp. of Kosher salt
1/2 tsp. of pepper

12 pounds of natural turkey, rinsed
For the Rub
1 tsp. of paprika
1/2 tsp. of garlic powder
1/2 tsp. of onion powder
1/2 tsp. of dried thyme
1/4 tsp. of dried oregano
1/4 tsp. of cumin
1/4 tsp. of kosher salt
1/4 tsp. of ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. of cayenne pepper

1 tbsp. of vegetable oil
2 fist-sized chunks of apple wood
Preparation
- To make the injection, get a blender and place the beer, Worcestershire, Creole seasoning, butter, liquid crab boil, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic, salt and puree until smooth.
- Get an injection syringe and inject the mixture into the whole turkey’s body.
- In making the rub, get a small bowl and combine the onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, black pepper, paprika, cayenne, cumin and salt then mix well. Season turkey meat both inside and out with rub. Fold its wings and tie its legs together then brush all over with vegetable oil.
- Grill to 325 degrees and add smoking wood chunks when at temperature. When it starts smoking, place the turkey and smoke until the thermometer reads 165 degrees in the thick part of the breasts for about 2 or more hours.
- Once done, remove the turkey and let it rest, uncovered for 25 minutes. Carve, serve, enjoy!
Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
Yield: 10 servings
